Are Search Engines Case Sensitive? Вот что пишет последний выпуск ineedhits: When submitting a web site to the search engines, web site owners usually ask the question : "Are search engines case sensitive when it comes to keywords?" Basically, there are two things to remember when deciding on whether to use all upper case, mixed case or all lower case for the keywords in the headlines or body of a web page. Firstly, if a user searches a keyword in all lower case, then the search engines become case insensitive. Secondly, if a user types even one letter of the keyword in upper case, then some search engines becomes case sensitive. When a user conducts a search by typing the keyword in all lower case, the search engines tend to look for sites which have used any form of the keyword. The keyword can be in all lower case, mixed case or all upper case. However, when a user types one or more letter of the keyword in upper case, the search engines will only look for sites which used the keyword in the exact same way. For the purposes of being ranked well with most search engines, it is recommended that lower case keywords as well as varieties of mixed case keywords are used in your web pages. With the appropriate mix of keyword formats, you will be ready to submit your web site to the major search engines. PS. В целом, отстойная рассылка, забитая спамом, но иногда что-то относительно полезное проскакивает.
